Our methodology

What we do

Every place to book a villa: The same villa is often rented out by several agencies under different names, so a search for one name finds only one agency. We find the others, so you can compare before you book.
Facts, not opinions: Agencies use their own names for many reasons, such as owner privacy or branding. That isn't wrong. We show who rents the villa and what each agency lists, never motives, scores or reviews.

Public listings only: We read the listings agencies publish on their own websites and note each agency's name for the villa, the facts it lists and the date we checked.
Every match checked by a person: We compare listings using their photos and details. A villa only appears once a person has confirmed the listings show the same property. Each villa page shows when we last checked it.
Photos stay with the agencies: We don't copy or show agency photos. “Verify photo” opens the matching photo on the agency's own website, so you can see it for yourself.
What each agency says: Bedrooms, guests, bathrooms and the services included come only from each agency's own page. Something not listed isn't necessarily missing, so ask the agency. Where agencies give different figures, we highlight the difference.
Websites we don't know: If a link you check shows a villa we know on a website we don't check, we tell you which agencies we know rent it and when the website was registered. We never call a website a scam.

Agencies we check: We currently check 4 agencies. We include agencies that rent out villas to the public online, and agencies can ask to be added. We don't cover every agency yet.
No prices: Prices and availability change, so we don't show them. Ask each agency.

Partners: Some agencies pay us a commission when you contact them through us and book. They appear in a box marked “Ad · Partners”, with any offer they give clients who contact them through us. Your price doesn't change.
What money can't change: Agencies can't pay to be listed, to change a villa's names, the photo links or the facts. Every other list on the site is alphabetical.

We fix them quickly: Tell us if we got something wrong, or ask us to remove something. We reply within a day, correct it, and the villa page shows the new date.
